Our fully equipped medical and surgical facility, in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, and qualified animal physiotherapist onsite allow us to provide comprehensive care for your pets. We also have long-standing professional connections throughout New Zealand and can refer to specialist practitioners when necessary.
From the moment you bring home your new puppy or kitten, we are there to support their physical wellbeing. We provide helpful tips, check-up text reminders, and a team that is always available to address your questions and concerns. Our goal is to ensure the best possible care and wellness for your pets throughout their lives.
The Beach Vets family consists of an outstanding team of veterinarians, veterinarian nurses, and reception staff. We take pride in our personal and compassionate approach to care, and we are dedicated to serving both our human and animal community members.

Michelle went above and beyond to care for a sick Labradoodle, and our clients drive past many other vet clinics to use Beach Vets. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm, and on Saturdays from 9.00am to Midday. We look forward to welcoming you and your furry family members to Waihi Beach Vets, where exceptional care and wellbeing are at the heart of all we do.

"Very awesome customer service! Admitted our cat at extremely short notice even though they were fully booked and took her in straight away in between appointments. Diagnosis was quick and professional. The place has a very friendly vibe and even our fur baby who is normally stressed at the vets was comfortable. Overall a very awesome experience!"
"Despite being fully booked today, we just received some incredibly good care for our dog from Pip and the team at very short notice. She was thorough, professional and very reassuring. Bloods turned around in 10 minutes and all other aspects of the treatment were clearly explained. I’ve never seen our Staffie so calm at any vet. Thanks guys."
