"We were very pleased with the quality of the rooms, location and price of the Wanderlust NZ accommodation. The feedback with the managers was top notch from when we first made our booking until our arrival for our stay. We were travelling with a sports team so we had secured the dorm rooms Moana 1 and Moana 2 which was perfect for our party of 15. The adjacent facilities of kitchen and shared bathrooms were more than enough for our purposes. We used Wanderlust as our base and it was fantastic for us to frequent local cafes and bars and the free parking nearby was easy enough to park any vans up. We would definitely recommend this place for larger or small groups where budget and location is a key consideration. Thanks for all your help making our trip to Tauranga an enjoyable experience."
"The best hostel I’ve stayed at, friendly staff to talk to. I really enjoyed my stay in Tauranga. Would definitely come back and stay here again. I was here previously and I loved it, it was so relaxing and the guests and staff are so wonderful and friendly. Definitely recommend anyone to come and stay here. "Best Hostel in New Zeland! I am already traveling since more than 9 months but I have never seen a hostel with this kind of high standards! Very friendly staff, total clean bathrooms, 2 kitchens on 2 floors and also a rooftop terrace. Almost all rooms are located to the seas side, so you always get a nice sea view!"
"Great hostel, staff, and location. The balcony by the kitchen has stunning views, and there are ensuite bathrooms. You will need to find your own parking though. Will definitely come back if I'm the area again!"
