"Bought a pair of boots over Christmas that were over €200. I returned the item over a month ago for a different size and nothing has been done with the exchange. When I email about the item I get a response from a centre in India that handles the customer queries as there is no call center. I have had no solid answer on how long or who has my item. Customer service is terrible and return time even worse! I will stay well clear of sports direct in future."

"Bought a pair of football boots in sports direct in March of this year. After some time the middle of the right boot all ripped so we returned them back to the shop yesterday. Keeping in mind these were a €90 pair of boots so not cheap and this should not happen. We had a VERY rude member of staff who said “I can not take hear back today” and “this is your fault whatever way your kicking the ball” nobody kicks the ball with their toes so there fore was nothing to do with hone the ball was kicked. I explained that football boots are made for kicking thr ball regardless and there is no way they should tear. She began to ramble on about how her runners tear which had nothing to do with the problem I presented to sports director with. A very rude, ignorant member off staff with absolutely no interest in helping customers. I will never shop in sports direct again and I would highly recommend to avoid Navan especially as the staff are very rude and not one bit helpful. Clearly not good products if both our boots and her runners all tear from the one shop. Staff definitely need training in customer service and basic manners."

"One of the worst shopping experiences of all time. First of all, DON'T SHOP HERE IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO FEEL SCAMMED!!! Today I bought trousers for my son and paid 65 eur, as it was on tag. It was a big surprise to me, when at home it turned out that there is another, lower price under 65 sticker, 59,99. Same +5 eur miracle was done to jacket. 10 eur scammed due to Christmas ''sales''. It has already been mentioned in the reviews that staff can't be found and doesn't show the slightest interest in customers and I can only agree with those people, except, I was waiting ''only'' 10 - 15 minutes. And last surprise was at checkout, where I was told they didn't have a paper bags and I had to buy a plastic. Another 50 cents. I decided that I had already spent one and half hundred euros on this business (then I didn't know, that I am already scammed to 10 eur to) and that would be enough for them, take my purchases in hands and left this inhospitable shop. For one I am 100% sure. I will NEVER visit this place again. Will you? It's your decision."
