"stayed here overnight whilst my grandma was in the hospital opposite. waited outside for 5 - 10 minutes whilst it was drizzling ringing the doorbell before someone answered the door but had to ring their number for this to happen. for just a nights sleep before visiting her again in the morning it was fine - beds were clean. toilet/shower was very small though. is directly next to a road so if cars/traffic wake you up maybe not ideal if staying in a front facing room if staying whilst visiting someone in the hospital this is a good convenient place if you do not live nearby (etc we live in Devon)"

"Lovely spacious room, comfy bed, shower room was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent Full English Breakfast, there was also a selection of cereal, fruit and juices, free parking facilities, although very limited. Situated very close to the Shambles, only a 10 minute walk. Very reasonably priced will definitely be staying here again. Ronnie and Thirza"
"Hmmmm. Got a parking ticket on their drive! Very weird. This place seems to have absorbed next door, but is not disclosing as much. Cold baked beans at breakfast were a shame - they're usually excellent. WiFi patchy, no room visits if you stay longer than one night, and radiators go off early (hey? It's Feb and this is Yorkshire!)"
