"Superb customer service at this lovely English-house-style B&B in a very central location. Rooms are very clean, pretty and cosy and the place is a short walk from the train station and York city centre. Besides providing a bed to crush on, this place will add character to your stay - the staff are friendly in a very English way, and the B&B has a house feel to it (as if you were visiting your distant English aunt who is very welcoming). More importantly, I was very pleased that the staff were ready to go an extra mile for customers: I forgot an inexpensive but important accessory at the room and when I called about it the next day, Fiona agreed to post it back (within the UK) and didn't charge for postage. I am very grateful and will book at this place whenever I'm back in York. Cannot recommend highly enough."
"Booked a superking delux room and it was Immaculately clean with good facilities with comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is a little basic but adequate. Ideally located for easy access into the city through the park."
