"Can't recommend this place enough! Very charming, attentive hosts that go way above and beyond caring for their guests. Also a very short walk into town for those able. Highly recommend staying long enough to take advantage of the breakfast. It's rare to get anything more than bread and cheese these days, but here you'll get a home cooked meal. If in York again, we'll be staying here for sure."

"The people who own The Apple House are so nice and pleasant! The house is incredibly cute and in keeping with the York atmosphere. The room and bed were nice and cozy and had everything that was needed. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend coming to stay and would absolutely do so again!"
"Short walk into York Centre and about 20 minute walk to the race course. Brilliant breakfast; all fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Good vegetarian options. Warm friendly atmosphere and really lovely staff especially Danielle. Our only negative is that our room was looking on the tired side but saying that it was clean. Fresh white bedding and fluffy towels. Would definitely stay again."
"Such a lovely welcome from Danielle on arrival. Everything was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed so comfortable. Breakfast was lovely both mornings. An excellent location for visiting York centre. Free on site car parking, left the car from arrival to leaving in the knowledge that the car was safe. We thoroughly recommend the Apple House 10/10."
