"Nice clean hotel. Beds Duvets and pillows comfortable. Bathroom and shower good. Staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent. Only downside was waking st 5ish every morning to strong food smells. Think from restaurant next door. Dogs are welcome here in rooms."
"Stayed for one night, didn’t had any issues . Big car park, 24/7 hot drink availability. Room was clean, quiet . Hotel is close to York city centre , not far away from retail parks or a bus stop too. Definitely a great option for the price ."
"Travelling for work purposes so a good nights sleep is needed. The room was quiet and comfortable and the all day access to cappuccino's & latte's was a plus. Staff are very friendly and welcoming., breakfast also very nice! I will return when I am back in this area in a few months time. Very much enjoyed my stay. Thank you :)"
"Friendly staff, decent sized rooms, nice breakfast and nicely restocked. Not much within walking distance amenities wise, but Toby Carvery was pleasant as ever and just next door. Convenient location for what our group needed. Overall well recommended."
"Lovely little Holiday Inn express on outskirts of York. Very convenient as a base for visiting the area. The staff encountered were lovely, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and all bent over backwards to give that little bit extra to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast may not have had the range of foods that the larger hotels in the group have but it was tasty, HOT, well cooked and plentiful.:-) The room was a lovely temperature (unlike many that are overheated) . It could perhaps have done with some hooks for coats and some drawers but this did not detract from our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this small, intimate hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful, quiet, home from home experience. Excellent."
