"Paid double quoted price plus nearly £4 charge because traffic when attending a show at AO arena seems little unfair. Beware of hold for pre authorisation i am still waiting a week later it 2 b released they state 24 hours i believe is wrong. Tried get cab back arena told 45 min wait we came out show early got a uber in 5 mins. Only used as recomended our hotel i wont use again or recomend."

"Staying out of our local area to attend a Birthday party so book a taxi 2 hours in advance of time needed (7.30pm). Had to ring 3 times to find out where can was but each time told "just another 5 minutes". An Uber taxi took pity on us and took us to our required location after us waiting 45 minutes. We'd been at party 10 minutes before we received a message our taxi was on it's way and 20 minutes before we had missed call presumably to tell us it had arrived. Poor, poor service. Thank goodness we will not have to use this cab again. Avoid like the plague!"

"Used Union Cars quite a few times on a stay in Didsbury recently. Always great service. I also used them to take me to the airport in the wee small hours of the night and they were bang on time and even helped to load all my heavy cases on a trolley once at the airport. Would definitely recommend them and I will always use them when in the area again."

"Called for a taxi home from work on Friday night. There were no ubers or other taxis in the area. Was told the taxi would take 45 minutes, I asked multiple times if it would definitely come because I didn't want to be stranded after waiting 45 minutes, man on the phone clearly didn't care and just kept telling me to wait. Taxi didn't show up, I waited an hour before going into a random bar to ask for help with a taxi service that would actually show up. All in all it took me nearly 2 hours to get home because of this, an hour of which was spent standing on the street getting harassed by drunk people."

"Now a friend recommended me Station Cars who uses it often for work purposes. So when it came to an airport trip earlier this year I went with them. It was a mistake. Taxi ordered for 7.30. Taxis arrives at 7.00, wanting us to leave then. So failure from dispatcher. Driver wanting us to leave at 7.00, completely unrealistic. Who is ready thirty minutes before the taxi time when they are going on holiday? At best you are on time and at worst your running late. The driver then proceeded to moan for the whole journey about the amount of traffic he had to return in.... Just what you want on the start of your holiday trip..."
