"The driver kept his meter fixed all the way to the airport even though we asked him if the meter was running, he said it was and at the end we had to pay that fixed price that he set. The ride was less than 20 mins to the airport and eh charged around 34 pounds. While , the 35 mins ride fromt he airport to the hotel was around 24 pounds in a local cab. In the end had to pay that fixed amount just to save time for check in at the airport. I don't recommend this service, just take a regular cab and that'd be better !!"

"I could only pay by card. The robot system that booked me in, gave me no warning that it would be cash only. After travelling 100 yards the driver told me he wanted cash, so I had to order him to pull over so I could get out. This affected all my plans that day. I rang a different Cresta number, and this time got to speak to a human. I told them what had happened, and they annoyingly just hung up the phone on me."

"Used this service to get back from a night out. Received a text that it had arrived, but it didn't till 10 mins after the text. More importantly the driver did not put in the correct place where we said on the phone (and repeated the address several times in the car)- instead went to the complete wrong place and we had to direct the correct way back in order to actually get back. There was no apology nor concession for this mistake (which was very clearly his mistake) and it is concerning because if someone was drunk and incapacitated and they were dropped off where they weren't meant to be, that is putting them at risk as they use that service expecting to be driven home safely."

"Descrepency in prices to and fro. Exceptionally long and unexpected waiting time. Disorganised; with driver calling me to say he has no PDA machine whilst office telling me they're yet to dispatch someone at the same time, therefore having no clue what I was talking about. Whom therefore do I trust or believe as being the genuine company? Was left cold, confused and unimpressed save glad to be home safely in the end. I must add that admin was kind, cordial and apologetic. All in all don't know if I'd patronise them anymore."

"I've been using Cresta cars for many years and now ONLY use them. Their taxis are metered fairly and inexpensively and, MOST importantly, they don't increase their prices willy-nilly to suit busy periods (unlike some I could mention). Drivers are, without exception, excellent and well versed on the best routes in Manchester and beyond. As a media producer & presenter I NEED a reliable taxi company and Cresta ticks all the boxes. Many, MANY thanks."
