“Good place , I need an accessible room cos I can't bend and breathing can be tricky . Lovely staff , good comfortable bed , a bath I can get into and the wi fi and the idiot box worked . Breakfast was good , taken careof by the beefeater next door , good and helpful staff . All good . Give it a try”

“The staff were excellent !! Our dinner, for 8 people, was served promptly and the staff were helpful and efficient. The breakfast team were amazing, so willing and informative they couldn't do enough for us. One lady in particular told us about the local area which was a great help. As for our room, we couldn't fault it, everything we expected was there such as a floor length mirror with a plug nearby, a roomy wardrobe, a desk & chair, plus a comfy chair and coffee table, altogether a great 2 night stay ! The golfers were happy as were we ladies, definitely a place to revisit.”

“Went here for a course nearby, stayed 4 nights. very comfortable room, clean and tidy. Dinner was from a set menu but was very good and had plenty of choice. Breakfast again had many options both hot and cold.”

“Stayed at this Hotel with work, and my stay was on the hottest day of the year so far. Check in was made easy and Michelle was very welcoming. As it was 39 degrees outside I hoped for Air Con, however Michelle informed me that this particular Hotel doesn't have Air Con in any of the rooms. The room was clean and fans were provided. And once I had positioned the fan next to the bed, I had a good 9 hours sleep. Plenty of parking at the Hotel - make sure you put your car reg in the tablet in Reception for free parking. There is a pub next door, for evening meals and breakfast the following day”

“Intended to have a drink after going to see the Illegal Eagles at Stafford's Gatehouse Theatre so overnight stay was the best option. Booked quite a while back. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was quickly sorted. Parked our overnight bag in the room and Carol watched television while I had a shower. Shower cubicle was more than big enough for a 16st hippo like me. Had a drink in the bar whilst waiting for a cab to take us into town. After the show we had more drinks in town and more drinks in the hotel bar. With the windows closed you would never guess you were sleeping within yards of the M6 motorway. Great nights sleep and a good breakfast before heading home. A good deal and we will be looking at Gatehouse Theatre's lists and use Holiday Inn Express again.”

“I cannot thank their staff enough. I seldom write reviews but the two receptionists working last night (8 March) were a credit to the company - I had a potentially big issue which they resolved quickly and politely. The staff this morning were also so helpful and very cheery. Well done.”

“Great stay here in a large comfy room. We checked in very late, but thankfully the front desk team, especially Jordan, sorted us out with food and drinks. The included breakfast was a fabulous way to start the following day.”

“Myself and partner stayed here on Friday purely for a night of peace and quiet & that’s exactly what we got, on arrival we was greeted by Tracey who instantly made us feel at home. When we got to our room we wanted to see if there was anything better to offer as Tv channels in the standard double was a little naff, we went down to reception and Tracey upgraded us to one of the club rooms, she did this so quickly and efficiently & we had no other messing around with our old room key, She was such a lovely lady and deserves some recognition for her hard work and great customer service as nowadays you don't see many happy smiling faces.”

“Lovely hotel, very spacious room and a huge bed! The bed was really comfy, and we slept really well. Breakfast was great and we were very happy with the whole experience for the price we paid, very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful and we had no complaints about any aspect of our stay ❤️”

“I had a birthday meal recently. There were about 30 people for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent. The staff were lovely.Everyone really enjoyed it. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.”

“First time at the age of nearly 11 our dog Kenzo has been left without family for a week and not in his own home. The staff are amazing and did everything to make sure Kenzo was settled and not to anxious. He had the stuffed dummy who he thought was a person in the room Place is spotless and lovely rooms for dogs. Will only leave my dog here in future . Thank you all Sam”

“I am the owner of the dog that went missing. I would like to make clear that K9 were NOT AT FAULT. In fact, every single person in that building has spent the last 48 hours doing everything in their power to get her back. We did not sleep, we did not eat or drink for that matter. They have gone above and beyond what anyone could ever ask for. Elsie has always been happy there. It was the longest she had ever been away from me and it was all clearly too much for her. For someone to comment on what has happened to my dog and make it about them has really hurt me. I would send Elsie back there in a heartbeat. I will never find anywhere that cares for and loves Elsie as much as I do.”

“My 2 dogs absolutely love staying here. It is so good knowing that they are well cared for, exercised well and safely looked after. We first used Haleswood in 2021 and have used them twice since. This is a lovely family run boarding hotel and it is professional, fairly priced and to be honest I'd be gutted if we ever tried to book and they didn't have space, Sabine and Captain Rex wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! “I have a 8 month old Bengal who has stayed with Tudor House a few times now and I would hand on heart never send him anywhere else. He absolutely loves going there and is so well looked after that I even get the cold shoulder when I pick him up because he’s doesn't want to leave. If your a nervous cat owner who is anxious about leaving there fur baby then you need not be taking them to Tudor house! CAN NOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!”
