"Play area itself is nice. There were two used condoms in the grass next to the playground turf. 5 feet from a garbage can. The geese poop was out of control. Not that they can control it I guess, however you couldn't step anywhere with out hitting it. Makes for climbing and sliding a pretty nasty experience. Outside of those 1 off experiences - it's a great park."

"A beautiful and spacious park. Aside from the community services, there’s a lot the park has to offer. The pond is absolutely beautiful and there are many different trails that feed in and throughout the park."
"It was nice and calming on a lovely Saturday. The pond was surrounded by all the ducks and geese in the area. I sat down on a bench and it perfect spot in the shade and right by a large family of geese & ducks. I'm not sure if the pool is open but I use to go swimming all the time there."
"I really like McCarty park. It has a nice walkway around the park. It even has a swimming pool for the summer. There's a small playground for kids. Be aware though that there is a waterway and pond that cuts through it so be careful with younger children. There's lots of ducks if you enjoy feeding them bread. The ducks aren't afraid of humans so it's very likely that they have been fed well."
