Everyone here is very accepting and friendly. We all share a love for learning as well as enjoying the fun of the physical aspect. It’s led by Chris Vanslambrouk, and he’s one of the best guys I know. He manages to both come off as a teacher who knows his stuff and can teach you perfectly no matter what kind of student you are. But he also comes off as a friend. Someone you could watch a movie with or just hang out with even outside of lessons. He’s always accommodating to scheduling and other issues. He’s often willing to drive all around town just to give lessons to his students. Through quarantine he was willing to abide by safety rules, and to give private lessons both in person and virtually just so everyone wouldn’t need to stop doing what they enjoy. Safety is always a high point in what we do ensuring everyone has the right equipment, and learns how to be safe when fencing. You will also learn the history behind fencing and Joachim Meyer. You will even learn important life lessons such as patience, and how to attack and defend which can help in debate or even in business.
