The hula hoops are weighted which adds to the intensity of the workout.The women in the class make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The hour class went fast. "This studio is wonderful! The dance classes are fun, and there are options for everyone. The most affordable group fitness and dance classes in Madison, by far, you won’t regret getting an unlimited month. They’ve recently started a partnership with Thrive as well, which offers fitness, nutrition, and massage. Very inclusive environment for females, femmes, and gender queer individuals with an awesome event called Inappropriate Song Night being the crowning moment of glory 2-3x per year! Just don’t park in front of the body shop next door, they get angsty. ;-)"
"I've been going to Dance Life for nearly a year and its been a blast. Its so fun and welcoming. The instructors are so helpful. I always have a great time in classes. The focus is both on learning the art of dance but also on loving your body and your way of learning. Arielle and Mama K are the sweetest people who are always encouraging and knowledgeable.
