"What a fabulous stay! This is a truly a special place. The owners, Pam & William have done an amazing job restoring this 18th century former inn. Authentic period furnishings along with a warm ambience, create a truly special environment while still remaining casual and inviting. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable and quiet. I wish I could’ve stayed even longer!! I definitely recommend."

"Hollymead House is a true Charlottesville gem. Pam and William are incredibly gracious hosts that make you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. William’s collections of antiques and art are to die for – the amount of attention and detail that was put into the interiors of this home is astounding. I could have spent days exploring every corner and listening to the history lesson offered by each of Hollymead’s rooms. Impeccably clean, cozy, and comfortable, and a great price for a historic stay with all of the modern amenities. It’s immediately obvious that Hollymead House is a true labor of love, and I’m so glad that Pam and William have opened this lovely home to the community."

"If you like antiques, you will LOVE Hollymead House. It is beautifully curated with collectibles in every nook and cranny. Our room was beautifully appointed, with lamps and chairs that made it easy to settle in and read if there was time. 8:30 continental breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, granola and yogurt. We toured Monticello and Trump Winery, and received excellent recommendations for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay!"

"We arrived in Charlottesville late in the day and the Hollymead House Inn was able to provide us with a beautiful room even though it was last minute. The hosts William and Pam showed us the original house which is filled with gorgeous antiques. They made suggestions for dinner and in the morning served a delicious (and healthy) breakfast, including William's home made biscuits (yum!).The bed was incredibly comfortable and they provided everything we could possibly need. We will definitely stay there next time we are in Charlottesville. If I could give them 6 stars I would. :)"

"Hollymeade House was the perfect end to our 10 day road trip. It was beautifully decorated with thoughtful amenities. My bed was so comfortable! The historic house and guesthouse was just beautiful and full of gorgeous antiques. Our breakfast was delicious and the hosts were kind and offered lots of knowledgeable information about the history of the house. If you’re in the area this should definitely be at the top of your list for a place to stay!"
