"This place is great! Good location in the District, lots of restaurants and upscale shopping just a block or two away. Even a Trader Joe's and a movie theater. Beverly, the manager, was very welcoming and accomodating. She gave us a tour of the type of apartment we were looking for, and answered all of our questions. The amenities are just what we're looking for: a beautiful pool, comfortable common areas, a fully equipped workout room. Everything was clean and neat. We meet 3 of her staff, all very friendly as if we already lived there. We can't wait to get moved in! Update: We're moved in and love it. An 18 wheeler moving van delivered our belongings and needed space to maneuver and park, mgr Beverly made sure they got what they needed, even offered coffee. Our apt was freshly painted, new appliances and new carpet. A couple of minor repairs were quickly taken care of. We have been warmly welcomed by all the staff, and have discovered even more restaurants within walking distance. We love it here. Update Oct 6, 2023. Stonefield continues to exceed our expectations. The fitness center was just upgraded with new flooring, a fresh coat of paint and new equipment. We spend a great deal of time on our screened in patio, which made for a wonderful summer and fall. The green space a block away has held a variety of events, including live music on some evenings. We definitely will be renewing our lease come time."

"I absolutely loved living at Stonefield Commons! My top criteria for finding a place to live in Charlottesville was not hearing my neighbors. And the building is SO quiet. The walls are nice and thick/well-insulated. It often felt like I wasn't in an apartment building at all. It also meant pretty affordable electric bills for heating and cooling. Maintenance is fantastic and incredibly fast. I've lived in several complexes and the typical turn around has been at least a day to get things fixed, here the crew was often knocking on my door within minutes - no exaggeration. I needed to have a dryer replaced and they got a brand new within a few days and gave me access to laundry facility in the meantime as supply-chain issues made getting a replacement a challenge. Mike and his team really bend over backwards for tenants. The building is modern, and comfortable. The location is excellent. It was great to walk to Stonefield and Costco with ease. I work from home and often wouldn't have to get into my car for a week or more - it's very walkable. The grounds were always clean, the maintenance crew does a great job of keeping everything clean and pristine. The tenants were respectful and the building has events that let you get to know your neighbors. The front office staff was always friendly and very attentive. Beverly made the moveout process a breeze and manages the property fantastically. I also worked a lot with Kevin and they were always friendly and helpful. I've lived in a lot of buildings in a lot of cities and Stonefield Commons is by far the best rental experience I've ever had. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone trying to find a place to live in Charlottesville."

"I lived at Stonefield for a year and from beginning to end, the staff treated us so well and made us feel right at home. Kevin was extremely helpful with the move in process and even offered to carry in packages for us before we moved in. Beverly was always so kind and was very helpful to us anytime we needed anything! Mike from maintenance had all of our requests completed in less than 24 hrs from when we submitted them. This is a great place and I would definitely recommend this complex!"

"My daughter absolutely loved Stonefield Commons. The amenities such as the clubhouse, fitness center & pool are kept very clean at all times. The apt complex maintains very high standard with daily cleaning on common areas. The leasing team is very welcoming and helpful with any questions I have. The maintenance crew was extremely responsive to any service requests I made. Stonefield Commons is a very convenient and comfortable place to live and is extremely safe. The location is perfect with easy access to highways and several excellent restaurants and shopping within the community. I definitely recommend here if you are looking for a great new home!"
