- Background: Dr. Kelly joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2022 and moved to the Logan Circle clinic in 2023. He holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University and an MBA in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
- Philosophy: Dr. Kelly is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health through non-invasive methods. He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and exploring D.C.'s culinary scene.
- Special Interests: Dr. Kelly focuses on spinal adjustments and believes in the power of chiropractic care to alleviate pain and improve overall quality of life.
Dr. Ciara Taborn
- Background: A Cleveland native, Dr. Ciara has a Bachelor’s degree in Science, a Master’s in Sports Health Science, and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University.
- Specialties: Licensed in MD, DC, and VA, she specializes in pregnancy, pediatrics, and athletics. As a member of the ICPA, she is proficient in the Webster Technique for Pregnancy.
- Philosophy: Dr. Ciara is dedicated to guiding patients on their wellness journey through corrective chiropractic care and healthy habits.
Dr. Demond Roland
- Background: Dr. Roland joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2021 and moved to the Columbia Heights location in 2023. He has a Master’s Degree in Functional Nutrition and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University.
- Philosophy: Dr. Roland promotes a holistic approach to health and enjoys fitness, fine dining, and live music.

"Dr. Finch and Dr. Ciara are awesome chiropractors. I highly recommend them. There is a third unnamed doctor who is there who always leaves early, and I rarely see him. I don't recommend him. UPDATE AS OF MON 7/9/2024: I thought it would be best that I mention the "unnamed doctor" for the sake of future customers and the owner of this particular Joint Chiropractor, and that doctor is Dr. Joseph Kelly. When he was the director of the Joint Chiropractic at Cathedral Commons, there were plenty of times in which there was no chiropractor available a half hour before closing and one time TWO HOURS before closing. I was told by him, "We emailed our customers to let them know the office would close early." I never received an email, and the Joint Chiropractic hours are consistent for each branch. We should expect the hours to be consistent because we're paying for a membership. This is the ONLY chiropractor at the Joint Chiropractic that I've had a negative interaction with, and this is the ONLY doctor that I do not recommend based upon many negative interactions with him adjusting the Joint Chiropractic hours to his personal hours that could change at a moment's notice."
"Love going to see Dr. Finch! She takes so much care with my adjustment based on where my pain is at the time. She also offers practical advice of stretches and things to do at home to improve. Honestly I wouldn’t be able to move without these adjustments, I make sure to go every week. The pricing model at the joint is more affordable than a traditional chiropractor even with insurance. Dr. Roland at the Columbia Heights location is also great!"
"Sarah at the front desk is super friendly and so kind! She gives you such a warm welcome. Dr. Kelly is awesome! He's so nice and informative and gave such a great adjustment. I will be seeing him again for sure. I also met Dr. Finch she was super nice. The office is clean and they are all there to help you! "I came to this office for some insight on back pain I I have been encountering. Immediately as I walked into the office, I was greeted by the friendliest smile and bubbly personality of Miss Sarah. She was super sweet, very welcoming and very helpful with getting me checked and signed up and prepped for Dr. Finch. When doing my consultation with Dr. Finch, I felt very comfortable because she was very knowledgable and I right away I felt like I could trust her. I’m excited to be working with this office !"
