"I’ve had great experiences here with both of my dogs. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, calming, and caring. We’ve had dental surgery done, routine visits, illness visits, and tech appointments— and we couldn’t ask for better care. When we needed to put one of my dogs to rest, Dr. Mitchell went out of her way to make sure she was available for us during our time of need. They are also great about communicating with specialists, other vets used, etc."

"This is a first for me — editing/updating an earlier Google review. But it’s so warranted. You wake up at 5:00 a.m.per usual, your dog’s ear infection has gotten dramatically worse overnight, you call this Clinic knowing they’re super busy and booked solid because so many people LOVE and depend on them…but they find a way to get you and your dog who’s suffering in within just a few hours. Turns out it wasn’t the run of the mill infection. It was serious. By 11:00 a.m. you’re back home. Your beloved dog’s situation has been thoroughly managed by Dr.Mitchell and her team. Meds are administered and provided. And they dumb it all down for me so I’m crystal clear on the diagnosis, the condition, and the treatment/meds. Crisis averted. But what really blows me away about this practice is something so…absent with other vets. I find myself rushing to ask questions and blurt out my concerns…thinking that the doctor and the assistants will be rushing me out the door. Nope, never happens with this group. Just when you think they’re going to hand you a bill and nudge you out the door…they sit down on the floor (literally) with your dog and just run through the plan one more time, and handle any final questions you have. Wow. This is a special place. State of the art technology. Clearly the most brilliant people in the world of animal care. Kindness. And honesty — you know when you hand over the credit card that they could’ve charged you more and MOST vets would’ve charged you more. Amazing place! ***************** If only Google had a 10-star rating system… I have been heartbroken since a late February, 2023 visit to a different vet in South Riding, Virginia, who I’m very tempted to name. Because my 9 year old dog Stella (pit/mutt mix, my best friend) has not improved since that vet appointment over 4 months ago. In fact she’s gotten worse. But today, with my first visit to Dr. Mitchell, the only vet who will EVER care for my 2 dogs in the future, a clear path to a healthy life for Stella is crystal clear. After 10 minutes of reviewing the paperwork I provided from the previous vet, sitting on the floor with Stella checking her out, speaking in plain and simple language that I could understand…Dr. Mitchell…clearly a brilliant diagnostician…found the problem. Yes, we’ll wait a few days for the confirmation from the blood work sent out, but Dr. Mitchell knew immediately what’s going on with Stella — thyroid. I have a strange mix of total joy having found Dr. Mitchell and a path forward for my beloved dog…and sheer anger at the previous vet in South Riding who despite taking thousands of dollars from me flat out missed the thyroid diagnosis. That doctor will be the recipient of a scathing Google review today. You’ll see “it” in 5 minutes with Dr. Mitchell. This is next level, the best care available for our beloved pets. It’s hard to describe in words. You just know…it simply doesn’t get any better, anywhere. What a great group of people at this practice. Brilliant, kind and fair people. (I couldn’t believe how little the cost was for numerous issues and meds provided.)"

"Love love this vet! They are always willing to help out including squeezing us in for an emergency even with their day being fully booked. They are extremely knowledgeable and answer any questions that my dog is experiencing (the good, the bad, and the ugly). Jackson loves going to this vet! Highly recommend!!"
