"It's incredibly difficult to get an appointment here. The people at the scheduling service are combative and rude over the phone and won't tell you if you'll be allowed to become a patient until after you answer 1,000 intrusive questions; nonetheless they seemed to want to choose someone random for me just based off whether the provider's availability matched mine. I couldn't speak to anyone directly either over the phone or by email."

"My therapist is great, but the billing department is the worst! I do not recommend Thriveworks to anyone. I have been going since May 2023. After every appointment, my billing is messed up. They debit my checking account instead of billing my insurance. I have to spend hours each time on a call to get it corrected. I am told repeatedly that they have corrected the system and it will not happen again, but it does. I had an appointment on Sunday and was charged for the appointment today. I called to find out why it was not submitted to my insurance, surprise....they didn't have my insurance correct in they system AGAIN! Each time, I have to spend hours on the phone for them to tell me they have to bill the insurance. In the meantime, I am out the money until the insurance pays them. It has now been 3 hours and I have still not received a call from a supervisor."

"Therapist 5 stars Phone service 1 star. I have been calling for weeks unable to get a simple billing issue resolved- being unable to add my insurance info means I’m paying full price rather than my co pay which will soon result in cancelation. I have sent email, called so many, many times to only speak to the robot and listen to the loop of hold music - but, when you call to schedule a session they take you call immediately, but are unable to help. This is a pretty simple problem exposing flaws in Theiveworks business model. If they have to ask me for my feedback to be able to accurately survey and correct their own business, the result is a lack of confidence in them as a whole. People rarely share good experiences but frequently share bad experiences. My suggestion would be to protect your reputation, do t rely on your customers to do your job, make it your goal to exceed customers expectations and it will be clear how you are doing. Essentially this is a business 101 concept. It’s very disappointing."

"We have had a very positive experience with Thriveworks, but especially with our counselor Elizabeth. Elizabeth has been a God send to my daughter, she’s kind, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. My teenage daughter was really struggling and after almost 10 sessions, she is in a much healthier, happier place. Elizabeth provided a safe, comfortable and trusting environment where my daughter could open up and gain insight, coping strategies and tools for going forward. We are so grateful for the kindness both Thriveworks and Elizabeth has shown us."
