"We purchased a certain type of carpet. That spills would remain on top of the carpet for a few minutes and not directly absorb. I emailed THE OWNER SUE who told me what brand they had...which was what we had saw at Haynes just under a different name. We purchased it and scheduled for installation. The day after being installed we had a spill and it went directly into the carpet. We contacted them to find out how this happened since we paid extra for a certain type of carpet. THE OWNER SUE not only was the most unprofessional and rudest person I have ever in my life met. We were customers and when my husband called she was quick to end the conversation with "I will check into this and call you back... she NEVER DID. She had a representative of the carpet we got contact us. She never apologized for the mix up. OR offered a credit on our bill...I thought I had done my research on this company that I was comfortable with having them install the carpet. I was completely WRONG! I should have went with Haynes because I would have gotten the exact carpet that I would have wanted. Just a quick addition to how she spoke to my husband. When he politely asked how she was doing? Her reply was "who is this?" He told her who is was and the reason for the call. When he told her that the spill went directly into the carpet...her reply was "okay" and he said my wife asked about a certain type of carpet that you said you carried and we ordered from that selection and obviously this isn't the same carpeting. She then replied with "I never promised that it not absorb" we knew that but we were told that any spill would stay on top for a few minutes before absorbing. He then "tried to continue" to talk and she cut him of by saying she would look into this and again she never contacted us again. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. AGAIN SHOULD HAVE STAYED WITH HAYNES."

"I used these people to put in my stair runners and laundry room floor. Sue, the owner, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The installer, Stew, was professional and fast."

"I would not recommend this company to install your carpet. They start off very friendly, helpful, and attentive. But once they receive payment, their entire demeanor shifts. Sue came to my home and measured my carpet the first day I called. She promptly ordered my carpet and scheduled the contractors to install my carpet. However; her contractors broke the knobs off my furniture, ruined my baseboards, and no one wanted to take responsibility for the damages. I went to the company to make my final payment and to voice my concerns; Sue didn’t even have the decency to come downstairs to speak with me in person. Her sister had to call her on the phone. Sue’s response, “that sometimes happens, you’ll have to fix it yourself.” It was only after I stopped payment on their final check, they sent someone out to repair my baseboards. I was nervous about hiring a privately owned company because of nuisances such as this. I was asked to refrain from posting negative comments about the company because they are a family business, but potential customers need to be aware of this company’s processes. It’s unacceptable. They don’t have contracts to cover their work. Getting them to write one was like pulling teeth, but I was adamant about not starting work until one was written. This company starts off professional but lacks follow through. Once they receive their money, they could care less about your concerns and attempts to leave customers with the responsibility of repairing damages they made to your home. I can also see where the seams of my carpet meet. I was going to purchase area rugs from them after my carpet installation, but because of my experience, I will never do business with them again."
