"We visited early on a Saturday morning. The diner is bright and cheerful with a new coat of paint. Our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delivered hot and fast. The home fries were crisp and they grilled my English muffin perfectly. The rest of the food was served exactly as ordered. It was excellent and a good value for the price. We'll definitely be back!"
"This is a really cute place, with very nice old wooden booths and old wooden stools. My friend cares about coffee and he said the coffee was really good. It was also visibly steaming hot in our mugs! I had the open-faced turkey, and wow, that turkey was delicious. My friend said the fries were great and so was his cinnamon sugar doughnut. I think we were served by Jan, who had a big warm smile the whole time. We're hoping to go back for breakfast."
"We stopped at this quaint diner in Vermont on our road trip, and I am so happy we found this hidden gem. I recommend The Handler breakfast sandwich! It’s served on a Portuguese muffi and is absolutely worth trying. The service was excellent and the ladies were so friendly. Looking forward to making this a permanent stop anytime we pass through Vermont."
"I really wanted to love this place, I did (truthfully, I had a 3 star at best experience). Sausage gravy was way too thin. Corned beef item was underwhelming. Coffee tasted burnt. This place was recommended by the gas station attendants down the road"
"Food was great and came out quick! Excellent service full of Fairlee charm. Nice view of the mountainside out the window. Hot tea comes in a little basket with a variety of bags to pick from. Full size or half-portion breakfasts are available so you can save room for a donut."
