"My recent stay at Camp Elena in Terlingua, right on the edge of the breathtaking Big Bend, was nothing short of extraordinary! The camp’s blend of desert charm and modern comforts provided an unparalleled desert experience. From the always-welcome hot water to the rejuvenating shower, the well-equipped kitchenette, and the incredibly comfortable bed, every detail was catered to with guests’ comfort in mind. The view from Camp Elena was a daily highlight, offering a serene backdrop to mornings and evenings spent at the camp. The meticulously maintained fire pit became the center of relaxation under the vast, starlit sky, emphasizing the tranquility and beauty of the desert setting. Jesse, our host, contributed to the smooth and enjoyable experience with his hospitality and efficient management of the camp. His subtle touches and presence ensured everything ran seamlessly, enhancing our overall stay. In summary, Camp Elena is a true gem in Terlingua, offering a perfect balance of nature’s beauty and comfort. My stay is a solid 100 out of 10 stars, providing not just a place to sleep, but a holistic experience of Big Bend’s magnificence."

"We loved our stay!!! We've been to Big Bend & Terlingua before, and were excited to return - the location of the camp is tucked away, but still really close to the park and food/cafes/etc in Terlingua. But my best review is the help we received when our car broke down IN Big Bend - they got us in touch with someone to bring us into Alpine so we could get a bus ride home, and were flexible with our check out time based on when our ride was coming to get us. Plus - the bed is SO COMFORTABLE! It was wonderful to fall into after a full day of hiking!"

"My wife and I stayed at Camp Elena during a long weekend trip to Big Bend National Park in early December and I can't speak highly enough about this unique experience. We love to go camping, but also enjoy the comforts of a nice hotel room, and this luxury tent gave us the best of both worlds. We were in Ocotillo Tent #1 which had fantastic, totally unobstructed mountain views and was fully stocked with all of the kitchen and bath amenities we needed. It was the perfect retreat after long days of hiking in Big Bend. The highlight of our stay was sitting out at our fire pit enjoying sunset, followed by some of the best stargazing we had ever experienced."

"We enjoyed our stay at fullest. We loved the view's. The tent was very clean and has all the comfort. Although other tents were occupied, there is a privacy for everyone. We loved the hammocks behind the tents. And the service was great too. Everything was very smart organized. Thank you!"
