"The waitress was SUPER nice and very apologetic. They were clearly understaffed and at the same time prepping for a catering event which took precedence. It took a long time to get a simple order and when we finally got it, it was really bad. Both dishes tasted weird and looked weird. The four meat omelette was made with what looked like sandwich meat. It wasn’t even an omelette. Was a fold over egg with chunks of sandwich meat tossed on top. And that dish was $15.99! Tables weren’t cleaned off, had to ask for silverware and it was wet when I got it, ordered a coffee that never came because the blender was broken and they couldn’t fix it. Just not a good experience."
"Loved my first visit to this diner-style coffee shop! I enjoyed a freshly-made vanilla latte (coffee could have been a tad stronger, but mild sweetness & milk were perfect balance) and homemade potato, egg, & bacon/ sausage tacos with awesome Taqueria-style house salsa. Friendly, family-style service & good prices. Music with muted screens was definitely a plus! Will be back with friends!"
"This family owned restaurant serves up home made dishes. The breakfast sandwich is drizzled with gravy featuring biscuits made from scratch. Excellent flavors and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The coffee was excellent. For lunch, I stopped on a Thursday which features a country fried steak and potatoes lunch special. Mashed potatoes made from real potatoes just like your mom makes. The country fried steak was cooked to perfection. All of it was drizzled in homemade gravy. This restaurant is quickly emerging as one of the area’s best."

"Hidden gem just outside of Veranda. A great place to grab a cup of coffee or tea and have a quiet conversation. They have a nice breakfast and lunch menu. The service was good. Will come back and try a meal next time!"
