"If you are trying to use this company for your plumbing needs, please stay away!! We have been using this company for our HVAC units during over the past two years and have been very pleased with them. All HVAC technicians who came out for services, have been always very professional, efficient, punctual and honest, especially Bryan Jones and Tyler. The receptionist has been always pleasant, efficient, polite and professional also, which is very hard to find now these days. They have never tried to oversell or overcharge for their HVAC services or products. Because of that, we replaced our two AC units with them and all process went seamlessly and was done professionally with integrity : 5 stars for HVAC department without any doubts. My issue is with this company’s newly added Plumbing department. Because of my great HVAC experience with this company, I decided to call to get an estimate for the maintenance service of my 2 and half years old Rinnai tankless water heater. I used a Rinnai specialized plumbing company from the Houston for the installation and got done the first descaling and flushing maintenance service last year with the cost of 250$ which included the travel fee. Today, two of the plumbing technicians from the Woodlands plumbing and air company came out and gave me two outrageous estimates: - 730$: for the maintenance and replacement of a valve? We have never had any issues with our 2 and half years old Rinnai tankless water heater. Why does anything need to be replaced when everything is working just fine? Anyone? - Another 399$ estimate, for descaling and flushing only without the valve replacement. I was so shocked by these pricing, I called the office and filled an ethic complaint because an average cost for the tankless water heater maintenance is between 150 to 250 $ nation wide. After this, I am definitely calling my Houston company for the second maintenance service. To summarize , if you are trying to use this company’s plumbing services because of your great experience with the HVAC services, please stay away from it and shop around for the right pricing. For your HAVAC needs, please try it. It’s too bad that this great HAVAC company has to ruin its reputation because of this newly added plumbing department."

"This is the best plumbing company I have had experience with. From the front office, with follow up calls always on the same day that I call and the people are very professional and understanding of the need for service. Alex and other service reps are beyond explanation, they explain the problem and resolution and always complete repairs in a very timely manner with a positive outlook and attitude. "I had a negative experience with the Plumbing team at Woodlands Plumbing and Air; I would say best case the team was disorganized and didn't communicate between the salesperson and plumber and worst case they were working hard to overcharge me and make a quick buck (or $1,500!). I initiated a call after my Wolf appliance technician said I needed to have a potential gas leak checked out by a licensed plumber. I contacted Woodlands Plumbing and Air and salesperson John came out to give me an estimate. I pointed out the specific joint that the Wolf appliance technician said I should have checked out. He stated that by Texas law he had to do a pressure test first for $900. The test and repair would cost $1,500 with a 10% discount and 1 year maintenance package. I told him that's fine but the specific problem is with the 90 degree black iron passing through the cabinet and into the wall. I was concerned about the leak and the freezing weather so I agreed to the test and rerunning the black iron pipe from the wall to the cooktop flex coupler as he recommended. He stated the job would take 4 to 6 hours and they would schedule for that afternoon. When the plumber Mike arrived I explained the issue to him as he couldn't understand from the service ticket what needed to be done. He proceeded to shutoff the gas and dissemble the 90 degree coupler that my Wolf technician said needed checked out. He put some pipe dope on it and reassembled the connection. He then performed a pressure test in just under 2 hours (including a short break). I pressed him to ensure that the leak was resolved (he didn't have a gas tester of any type on him unlike other plumbers that have done work for us in the past) even though the original scope was not performed. He said it tested 100% at the meter. I then asked how much I owed them. He said $1,500. He played dumb when I said but he didn't complete the original scope of the estimate. After a lot of back of forth with his office (and overhearing a lady in his office yell over his speakerphone at him not to leave without full payment) we settled on $900. I was very uncomfortable with the type of interaction between both myself and his salesperson and Mike the plumber and his office. It was not professional. I paid it but after talking with a few colleagues in the industry its clear $900 was steep for the work completed especially when I already had the problem diagnosed and identified the day earlier by the appliance technician and need only a minor labor only repair. They estimated a typical plumber in this area would have charged no more than $400 to $500 for the minor repair and pressure test."

QFrom the beginning all the way to the finish they were professional, cordial, very thorough and thoughtful. Brian, Omar and his crews were a delight to work with.
