La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Antonio I-35 N at Rittiman Rd

"I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and disgust regarding my recent stay at your hotel. My experience was nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention. During my stay at your establishment from 02/17/24 to 02/18/24, I encountered numerous problems that significantly detracted from the quality of my stay. The most alarming issue was the infestation of roaches throughout the premises. Not only did I observe them in my room, but they were also present in common areas such as the lobby and hallways. This is completely unacceptable and goes against basic standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Furthermore, the overall environment of the hotel was far from satisfactory. A smell permeating throughout the room was nauseating and unbearable. It was evident that proper cleaning and maintenance were sorely lacking, resulting in an atmosphere that was both unpleasant and unsanitary. To say that my experience was disappointing would be an understatement. As a paying guest, l expected a certain level of comfort and cleanliness, neither of which were provided during my stay at your hotel. The conditions I encountered were not only unacceptable but also highly distressing. This establishment deserves zero stars!!!! Do not book a room here!!! stay far away from this place!!!"

"This place is the worst…. No idea why it would have a 3 star rating, rating needs to be lower because my husband & I decided on this hotel to stay for our 1 year anniversary trip (for 3 days), the pictures looked every well, but once we got to our door it was so hard to open. The smell was disgusting… smelt like urine & mold…. I tried so hard to get comfortable but I couldn’t take it anymore we didn’t feel safe or comfortable at all… Please don’t get this hotel, even though its low on price don’t…. Non-refundable :(. My husband & I checked out the next day."

"I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. We had 3 rooms booked, for 3 nights. Every single room had roaches, smelled of cigarettes even though they were supposed to be non-smoking rooms. The bed sheets were dirty with stains and hair on the sheets. The pictures posted by this place are not accurate. When we were checking in there were good amount of people trying to cancel their stay. We did not stay for the 3 nights either and had to scramble to find other hotels late at night. Save yourself the headache!!"

"The rooms REEK of cigarette smell. It was so bad, that I had an extremely bad headache and couldn't sleep. There were tiny roaches in the bathroom and the table under the microwave was very dusty. Also, I had on white socks, they were black when we left. The floor hadn't been mopped in God knows how long. It was so disgusting that I wouldn't go back for free!!! There were very sketchy people around all night, working on the cars, revving up the motors and who knows what other "activity" was happening in the back, that's where they placed us. I'm just glad our truck wasn't broke in to."
