I Just Got Hit

"My car was T-boned and totaled by a woman who was texting, and I was injured. I was assigned to a Client Service Manager after my accident in May 2022. The young lady had very poor communication skills. She sounded sleepy whenever we spoke. She rarely returned my calls, and whenever she gave me a timeframe on anything, it never happened on time. I even had to call the office to find out if she still worked there. I was not happy with the recent settlement amount, and I do not recommend this firm to anyone. Please do your research before signing up with a law firm to get you what you deserve and to treat you with respect after the trauma you have gone through. Update: After I posted the review, I received a call from one of Godsey Martin's representatives. He wanted to hear my complaint verbally (I guess). He said he was very sorry that I was dissatisfied and that he would confer with his boss and see what he could do. He said he'd call me back. That was over two weeks ago. Crickets. Update #2: I received a call after the above update. GM wanted to make it right and asked me what I wanted. I received another check the next day via Fedex. A better ending to a bad experience!"

I know that business is booming and things take time. 10 years ago I waited about 6 months I believe for everything to be finalized and to be paid and everytime I called or they called I was treated very well. It’s been 14 months since my accident this time and I haven’t received anything. When I call or when they call I feel like they just want to say the bare minimum as quickly as possible to fulfill the duty of having spoken to me and get off the phone. They don’t care about me. They don’t care how long it takes. They are getting so many cases ‘settled’ each day that as long as the money is rolling in they know eventually mine will roll in too. They aren’t going to rush my one case because to them I’m 1 out of 10,000 or however many they have. I would never use them again. I would chose someone with less clients who can really take the time to focus on me and get me taken care of with some sense of personal empathy and concern."
