Rutherford Academy is a private non-profit school located at 2320 Southgate Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We have been serving the special needs children and youth of the Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee community for over 17 years. Our school offers therapeutic special education day programs for students from 1st through 12th grade who have been identified with emotional and psychiatric disorders, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dual-diagnosis, and/or developmental delays. As an approved school by the Tennessee Department of Education, our students have the opportunity to earn high school credits and may be awarded an academic or exceptional education diploma at graduation.
