“Popped into the Swansea store yesterday due to having some issues with vinyls purchased the week before from a different HMV store. Both the manager Kath and assistant Dan were extremely helpful and took the time to test our vinyls on a player in store. Dan gave us good general advice with regards to record player specs, usage, fault finding etc. and was very helpful. We identified the problem was likely with the player. Dan then also firmed up best way for us to contact customer services to address this. Really good service overall. The wider store has a fab selection of product and we purchased some dvds later that day - again the advisor was helpful and pointed out offers available.”

“Thank you for Fabulous Service Visited the Swansea branch recently to purchase a stroller and baby car seat. We were help by 2 members of staff, we didn’t manage to notice the first assistant name but he was extremely helpful getting the strollers from the shelf for us to compare, fold down, you name it he showed us, explained it and answered all our questions. We were also then assisted by Kelly who was again extremely helpful and again helping us make the final decision considering everything we needed. When it came to car seat she asked me all the right questions to get what we needed and then we narrowed it down to 2 which she promptly got into a trolley and tried them out on our car outside in the very warm weather (I had parked in the shade but still warm). There was only 1 seat that would fit in our car so thank goodness Kelly checked. So once purchased Kelly then fitted our new car seat, explained everything she was doing and made sure we knew how to operate it and ensuring that we would be fitted back correctly in future. She also said any problems in the future with our purchases just come back to the shop and they would help us. This just proves that when it comes to somethings you really need to visit a shop with staff that knows the products it sells and we definitely we more than happy with the help and service we received. Thank you”

“So i went to quinns this weekend looking for a fridge freezer after i been looking for weeks for one. I found one at a very good price an chufft to bits. The staff there are really good they know there stuff an are really willing to help an they have a really good price for delivery that shocked me i will be looking for a cooker and a washing machine soon an to save all the fuss i be going back there again 100% service here!!”

Esp when we had to go back In today one in particular this morning not saying names incase not allowed. “Wonderful service! Ordered a new dishwasher online on Thursday, was told it would be delivered the next day. Sure enough it was delivered and fitted in less than half an hour on Friday. I did not have to do any hand washing up as the new dishwasher was good to go so quickly. Thank you to the two men who delivered and fitted it.”

“Credit where credit is due, went here to buy a laptop. Got approached shortly after entering by a lovely member of staff. She informed me should would send someone over to help me. A few minutes later a member of staff came over and asked me about what I was looking for. She then showed me some options & was very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with the laptop we settled on and so I bought it. She did offer insurance and security that I didn't need at the time but was not pushy. Just generally good customer service. I believe her name was Sarah-Beth? Possibly. Totally different to the experience I had in the Llanelli store the night before where I'd waited 45 minutes to be seen by someone and after seeing the staff stood in a circle on phones gave up and left. But that's for a different review!”
