“Lovely food. Four cheese pizza and gnocchi here are great. I think I have the garlic mushroom starter, which is excellent. I love the palm trees at the back, I hope in the warmer months they can reopen the outside area. Me and my partner come here with her grandparents who travel from Yorkshire to se us, they love eating here too. Its become a family favourite. I feel the negative reviews of this place are very harsh, yes the staff are busy, but with patience they do help you. Just get their attention, the staff are very friendly people.”

“The coffee is a bit meh, but great full English breakfast! Friendly helpful staff. They could do with making a bar type seating area though (high counter with bar stools) as it's always full at weekends and they would be able to get more people in.”

“Love this place. Efficient service and the pizza dough is delicious. I had the 'trimmings' pizza - no tomato base to it but tasted of Christmas dinner. Who'd have thought mini roast potatoes would go so well on a pizza! I even bought some of their treacle and sultana sourdough to take home. My understanding is that all the pizza and bread dough is made by hand on site by the owner. Highly recommend that too!”

“Love the decor, food was really good. Best of all was the attentive friendly service. Really busy for a wet Tuesday in November which created a vibrant atmosphere. Would like to go back in the warmer months and dine in the outdoor seating area. We had the set menu which came with a drink but I'd like to give the tapas menu a try when we return.”

“I hate shopping but i can manage aldi because there are less choices. You want a tin of beans? There are not 50 different brands. Also reminds me of going to quick save in the 70s as a kid with my parents. We didnt have a car but my dad had made a gocart and we would go the mile to Quicky every thursday when he got paid. Bags were loaded on the gocart and pulled home. Different world and definitely not better despite what lots of older people say.”

“Lovely setting, with a big lake and outdoor seating. So unusual to have a children's play area but very very welcome as it gave my toddler a chance to burn off energy. Good selection of food and drink outlets.”

“first time ive tried My Dessert palace & Pizzas the staff/owner are bang on good conversation while i waited for my Pizza had a Meat feast pizza the pizza its self was brilliant piping hot it wasn't greasey lots of toppings just how a Meat feast should be plus it didn't take forever unlike some places PEOPLE try the Meatfeast Pizza you wont be disappointed”

“First time we've ever ordered from here. The pizza and piripiri fries were so tasty. We also ordered the jalapeno cream bites. All the food was gorgeous and cheaper than our usual takeaway. We will definitely be using them again. Great taste and value for money”
