“Was recommended this restaurant when staying locally. Fantastic food, huge portions and all for a great price. The naan breads especially are a talking point, three times the size of a dinner plate! My partner had their special murghal korma which was beautifully presented and I had a mixed tandoori grill. The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol but allows you to bring your own for no additional fee. The staff were helpful and polite and the service was amazing. Will definitely be returning!!!”

“Came here to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary with a group of around 19 people and the restaurant did a great job of accommodating us all. The food was delicious (I only remembered to take a photo of my starter - the lamb chops) but nobody had any complaints with the exception of one person whose curry seemed far too spicy for what they'd ordered, so we suspect it might have been a mistake. Other than that, nothing to fault - so full marks from me and thanks for helping to make the night a special one.”

“I have ordered a chicken tikka masala with a garlic Naan bread today and I really enjoyed it. I am very pleased with the food I received but the waiting time can be shorter as I was waiting for an hour for my food. The waiting time is the only downside but everything else is excellent.”

“I have recently ordered food from here on two occasions due to my usual choice being closed for a few weeks. I was quite happy with the food from the take away that I used to order from BUT I have found my curry heaven since having food from Indian Grill. The food is delicious and the ingredients are obviously very fresh and visible within the sauce (and not just a dollop of sauce that you get from lesser establishments). It is clear that the chef(s) are highly skilled and this is reflected in their food. Food is delivered on time and the staff are very polite. I don't profess to being a curry expert but I like to think that I know a thing or two about my food and know a good curry when I taste one. Take my word for it and give the Indian Grill a try - you will not regret it! Keep up the good work.”

“Love this place. An absolute little gem. We have visited a few times now and never had a bad meal. Always so fresh and tasty. By far the best Indian restaurant I’ve visited. I can highly recommend the back yard grill starter. Really impressive. Never tasted flavours like it. “Me and my friend came on a very busy Saturday night after hearing they have won an award recently We had to wait around 25 minutes for the table, but we were given free drinks while we waited which was a very nice gesture and the restaurant itself looks fantastic so we didn’t mind. I ordered a few cocktails and they were delicious made to a very high standard and relatively cheap for the quality! Then the food came, we had a full 3 course meal. The stand-outs for me were the red chilli relish which we kept throughout our meal, the tandoori chops starter and my lamb patia. All these were delicious and fully worth the wait! We understand why they are so busy and can’t wait to come again !!”

“The place was very quiet. But given it was 7 pm on a Thursday evening that is not surprising. The young lady that served us was pleasant, attentive and informative regarding the food. The meal was inexpensive but rich in flavour and taste. There is no car park on site but you can park (for £1 in the evening) opposite the entrance to Spode .”

“The most tastiest authentic cuisine we have had in a very long time! Full of flavour and fresh ingredients. Not greasy just pure delight! We've had a few take outs from here now. The Pathia Sauce is so tasty, the Fish Rogan Josh is so fresh and packed full of flavour. We've also tried the Chicken Chat, Fish Pakora, Jalfrezi and other dishes and there hasn't been anything we didn't like. This is one special place. Compliments to the chef!”
