“Having never attended an event before, we weren't sure what to expect, but communication was excellent prior to the event. The email to advise the catering would be minimal due to the caterer contracting covid meant we were able to pack our own picnic in time. Every effort to provide food/drink was made, and a small shop was set up as a last minute alternative, which was a plus given that from the email, it wasn't expected. The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and the atmosphere was relaxed. The kids were able to move around and there was plenty of space. A great event, that we enjoyed. An umbrella is a must to provide yourself some shade in good weather.”

“Friendly staff at the main checkouts were super helpful despite us being behind schedule. They helped us pick out some great seats and got us quickly sorted with coffee and requisite popcorn. The screen was no4 and not one of the primary screens yet still a good size with outstanding sound and visual quality. The reclining electric leather seats made the drive really comfortable and relaxing. Vue are one of the few major companies that will still show niche movies on a regular basis that would generally not appear at the manor multiplexes. Support this relatively rare and disappearing gem. It is head and shoulders above the local competition in every way!”

“I've always used Cineworld for movies, it's clean, staff have always been polite and helpful and the prices aren't extortionate like some other cinemas. The screen itself was very clean and seats comfy.”

“Such a cracking idea, the seating is lovely and comfy, the refreshments are very cost effective and there is even a bar again that is as cheap as chips. We had a fantastic night there watching the "Fantom of the Open" and have added it to our monthly nights out list.”

“My 13 year old daughter has attended Rooftops for nearly 10 years. There is always a welcoming, family vibe and now its a second home to her. They have always been attentive and supportive with medical needs and filled her with confidence to do what she loves. All pupils respect and support each other's creative drive. During the Covid Lockdown they were so fast to think outside the box and ensure lessons and routine were well managed, fun and ongoing via online platforms.... this contact has been amazing! We attend 5 classes but I would highly recommend any, as all teachers are friendly, professional with enthusiasm in abundance, clearly loving what they do! Wishing the Rooftops Team all the best for their bright future in this new era of teaching "break a leg!"”

“The theatre is an absolute credit to the people who run it and the village of Audley. I may be a little biased because it's where I grew up and the theatre was a big part of my life as a teenager performing. So much effort goes into creating the shows and I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in the area!”

“When I wanted to create a a home cinema for my family, I thought I knew what I wanted as I did speak to a few (so called) specialist! But having spoke to Chris, it was pretty clear that that I was barking up the wrong tree and he advised me without trying to sell to me which was important as this showed his true passion! Anyway, after spending a good morning with him and after demonstration of the fixed screen and short throw BenQ projector, I ended up buying a package for the two. Anyway, roll on few months later, a few problems arose which were through no fault of Pure Theatre but Chris and his team were there and offered to help and made fully sure that I was up and running again. Nothing was too much trouble and for me, this is where they scored massively ie excellent after sales support and customer service.”

“Fresh, comfortable and airy... a lovely venue. Plenty of room around the bar areas and comfortable seats in the auditorium. The acoustics were great. We'll worth a visit.”

“Just watched a brilliant dress rehearsal for their next show, In Plain Sight. You follow storytelling buskers sharing the journey of 2 rough sleeps through their life struggles. Very eye opening. Go see it! Feb 5-8 & 12-15 2020.”

“Great shows on here. It has a disabled entrance which is good for wheel chairs and prams and a second entrance which is steps. Only annoying thing is when waiting for the show the toilets are quite difficult to get to as everyone is forming a que next to them. Seen a few shows here. The pantos are always great. No car park but lots nearby and not far to walk to. I suggest Riverside by primark is the easiest as others have time restrictions on. The drinks here were cheap and we bought a flashy light thing for the children. Staff seemed friendly and great atmosphere. One thing I will say is the front few rows it is hard to see much on stage unless your tall. They did offer booster seats for 50p for kids. Seats are that comfortable but it's not for long.”
