The park is open to visitors Sunday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. One of the highlights of Trenholm Park is the annual Jazz Fest, featuring live jazz and soul music on Saturday, April 13 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at North Springs Park. Additionally, the park hosts a badminton tournament on April 20 and 21, as well as organic agriculture and gardening workshops at the Gadsden Park Community Center on April 20.

Our 501(c)3 faith-based drug/alcohol recovery program is designed for men ages 18-55 who are seeking help to overcome addiction. We offer transitional housing for 90 days of sober living, as well as independent sober living for up to 3 years for those in recovery. Our sober living homes provide a supportive environment where residents must follow house rules, do chores, and most importantly, stay sober. Living in our sober homes can help promote lasting recovery and assist men in maintaining their sobriety as they transition back into independent living. In addition to our recovery program, we also operate a thrift store that offers a variety of donated merchandise including furniture, household items, clothes, shoes, and jewelry. South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory
● OpenThe South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory, located at 324 Sumter Street in Columbia, South Carolina, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality ballet and contemporary dance intensive programs for serious and pre-professional students. Founded 38 years ago by Artistic and Executive Director Susan E. Anderson, the SCSDC offers a diverse curriculum including daily ballet technique, pointe and variations, repertory, men’s class, partnering, jazz, character, and flamenco. The summer faculty consists of nationally recognized dance professionals from prestigious companies such as the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Martha Graham Dance Company. The Conservatory also offers a separate Jazz Intensive program, attracting serious jazz students from across the country. Dancers who have attended the SCSDC have gone on to dance with notable companies such as the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Miami City Ballet. The institution offers three professional intensives: a 3-week ballet intensive, a 3-week contemporary intensive, and a one-week jazz intensive. Admission is by audition, either in person or through a video submission. Merit scholarships are awarded based on audition performance, and financial aid scholarships are available for accepted students. The SCSDC prides itself on offering a professional atmosphere, state-of-the-art facilities, and exciting performance opportunities for dancers from around the world.
