Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site
Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site, located at 181 Redcliffe Road in Beech Island, South Carolina, is a museum and park that offers visitors a glimpse into the history of the site. The phone lines are currently down, so please email redcliffe@scprt.com for reservations or questions. Tours of the historic slave quarters and mansion are offered Thursday-Monday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged as spots are limited. Grounds are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with guided tours of the historic structures available at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Admission to the park is free, but house tours are $10 for adults. Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas as long as they are kept under control.
