His House Ministries - His House Thrift Store
His House Ministries - His House Thrift Store is a store located at 765 Meeting Street, West Columbia, South Carolina, United States. Founded by Rev. Garland Ramsey in 1974, the institution aims to change lives by providing shelter, food, and Christian rehabilitation services to homeless and alcoholic men. The Thrift Store, Grace Men's Program, and Men's Mission were established to support this mission. Under the leadership of Rev. Roger Weaver, the institution focuses on spiritual development and incorporates the Gospel of Jesus Christ into all activities. Thousands of men have benefited from the Grace Men's Program, which offers residential rehabilitation in a Christian environment. Participants are required to commit to a minimum stay of 90 days, with attendance at daily chapel services and completion of daily work assignments.
Trenholm Park
Trenholm Park, located at 3900 Covenant Road in Columbia, South Carolina, is a popular tourist attraction known for its beautiful green spaces and recreational activities. The park is open to visitors Sunday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. One of the highlights of Trenholm Park is the annual Jazz Fest, featuring live jazz and soul music on Saturday, April 13 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at North Springs Park. Stepping Stones Ministries Inc is a Christian Transitional Living & Recovery Program located at 6000 A Two Notch Road, Columbia, South Carolina, United States. Our 501(c)3 faith-based drug/alcohol recovery program is designed for men ages 18-55 who are seeking help to overcome addiction. We offer transitional housing for 90 days of sober living, as well as independent sober living for up to 3 years for those in recovery. Our sober living homes provide a supportive environment where residents must follow house rules, do chores, and most importantly, stay sober. Living in our sober homes can help promote lasting recovery and assist men in maintaining their sobriety as they transition back into independent living. In addition to our recovery program, we also operate a thrift store that offers a variety of donated merchandise including furniture, household items, clothes, shoes, and jewelry.
