“I had heard rave reviews from friends, co-workers and online about Kitchen King, so I was really looking forward to giving them a try tonight. I was thoroughly impressed by the whole experience and everything lived up to the reviews. Placing the order was incredibly fast and easy. Delivery was just under half an hour. All the food was actually hot not just warm and the packaging was great. Food quality was excellent. Out of at least half a dozen Chinese takeaways I've tried in the area, Kitchen King really is by far the best by quite a large margin.”

“Excellent customer service and scrumptious food. Meat was tender and flavoursome, salad was fresh and desi chai was spot on. They made sure we were all looked after and that food was to our liking. Handy car park on-site. I would most certainly recommend The Shalimar anytime.”

“Lovely meal with six of us there, fairly big portions, a good amount of food. One of us asked for the food to be spicier and it was delivered well. Waiting time was about 25 minutes. A nice ambience there.”

“Excellent food and service! For a 50th birthday surprise family gathering, we arrived as a group of 30 people. The food was outstanding, and the waiters had been very accommodating in taking orders because it wasn't easy keeping people seated in one place while mingling with other guests. The manageress had been extremely helpful in organising this with me, helping with seating arrangements and the lighting of the cake. But thanks to Castle Cuisine, I will most certainly return.”

“A midweek visit to this restaurant was a nice surprise! The restaurant itself is modern without being too much so, and the service was very good. The food itself is Nepalese, which is just that bit sweeter than Indian food, and (I find) less heavy and with more variety. Nonetheless, we ordered too much. All of it was good, and I was very pleased to have come - it'll be on my list if I find myself here again.”

“Very good restaurant. Sunday buffet is a really decent option. Excellent service and beautiful decor. Food 4 star only because we are spoilt with choice where we live but it is excellent for Clay Cross. More choice of desserts on the buffet would be a good improvement.”

“First visit to Urban Choola - everything was perfect. Modern and comfortable surroundings, good vibe and the crucial bit - the food - outstanding. Everything is cooked fresh to order, the chicken was so tender (we shared a butter chicken and a palak chicken). The service from all the staff was excellent. Jay was very friendly and talked us through items on the menu. Disappointed in myself that I haven’t discovered this sooner. Can’t speak highly enough of the experience 10/10”

“Been wanting to try here for absolutely ages... visited last night after booking online yesterday afternoon and we certainly wasn't disappointed!! We had the meat treat to share between us and it was absolutely delicious & huge!! We then shared a Twirl cheesecake for pudding which was also delicious!! We will definitely be returning as theres so many things on the menu we want to try!! All staff was very friendly and attentive! Can't wait to come back!!”

The eating area is shared by all the food stalls and there are plenty of staff clearing up and cleaning tables. Very popular place but no problem finding a table.”
