“Me and my husband ate at Envers last night and it is the best meal I've had in a very long time. The food was full of flavour and the meat was cooked to perfection. We had the mixed grill and the meze for two to share and there was not a single item on them that we didn't enjoy. My only critism is the portion sizes could be a little bit more generous, however, we do like our food and have big appetites so that could just be us! Overall, five stars just doesn't cut it, food was out of this world and its a pleasure knowing this gem of a restaurant is on our doorstep!”

“We had a wonderful night at Spoon for the bistro evening. 8 of us went to celebrate my mum‘s birthday and Jules worked exceptionally hard to ensure we all had incredible food and hospitality. Our 9 year old was able to order from the day menu on this occasion and I was so grateful for that. We’ve been before and we will most certainly go again, day and evening. Thanks to to you all at Spoon, mum had a lovely night.”

“A fantastic stop off when travelling along the A1. Avoid the Markham Moor services and go here instead for tasty home cooked food and friendly welcoming service. I had the amazing Chorizo and Tomato Hash and it was superb. Desert was lovely too, so tasty. The food is not bought from mass market suppliers and the team are so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend highly enough and will be back with my family.”

“Have been coming here for a number of years now to enjoy their afternoon tea and it never disappoints. My sisters and I often go for the Posh Afternoon Tea. The sandwiches, cakes and scones are all freshly prepared every day and are very tasty. There are a choice of several cakes too. We once took my 80-something year old Grandparents who enjoyed the Ploughman's Platter and Wrabbit on Toast. Highly recomend for families, friends and little get togethers!”
