“We have been ordering from Ali Shan for years, delivery is always on-time and the food is hot. Dishes have always been either excellent or very good. I've finally thought about writing a review after the meal we ordered last night. In the midst of the current lockdown Ali Shan was _extremely_ busy - but their delivery was still on-time, the food still hot - and the quality of the dishes delivered were absolutely superb. They initially omitted the naan bread I'd ordered, but upon a quick phone call, rather than fobbing me off, they immediately sent another driver straight round within a couple of minutes. Absolutely top notch customer service! Edit: Jan 22 - needed a treat for just myself - Ali Shan happy to bend the rules to provide smaller portions of my favourite dishes, delivered early, steaming hot and delicious. “We had a lovely weekend here. Checking in was easy. The hotel is clean. Beds are comfortable. We went as a group of 9 girls. My room was hot during the night, the heater would not turn off. Opened the windows to cool down. But the rest of the rooms were fine. The shower was lukewarm on one of the day. Customer service is excellent, everyone is very friendly. Everything went smoothly, so we got to relax and enjoy. All the staff are professional they added to the great experience. Breakfast options were good. Really enjoyed the spa area it was not as busy as we expected for a Saturday, which was great. I would say the deep tissue massage was more aromatherapy. Left feeling super relaxed and rejuvenated. Overall great experience would recommend for short stays with friends.”

“Tried to order a take out tonight ,we were told 1 and Half hours wait (glad there so busy) we asked if we could get any sooner NO we can’t so we said we would cancel the order, we were told by the male telephoning to GET OVER OURSELVES AS THEY HAD OTHER CUSTOMERS. We have ordered there regularly, last time we ordered in fact they forgot to place our order we rang after an hour to be told no order, the lady was very apologetic and rushed our order through which we appreciated. But will not go back there again after being spoken to like that. Clearly he has no manners !!!! I have since been contacted by the owner, with an apology which is appreciated, we have been customers for years there, no more needs to be said, but we will return for our next meal.”

“First time trying this Chinese and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Lovely customer service and excellent food. They catered exceptionally well to the changes we wanted to make also. We had egg fried rice, shedded beef, sweet and sour chicken balls and chicken chow mien and it was all a 10/10.”
