We were trying to find somewhere to eat and we were far too late for most places (after 10pm on a week day), but the people at Himalayan Spice were so welcoming and we didn’t feel rushed at all. All the food was really good, but the nann bread was up there with the best we’ve ever had and the king prawn purée was superb. Would highly recommend.”

“My partner took me here for my birthday. Only I would go to a steakhouse and have a burger. I had the dirty burger and my partner had the black Angus filet mignon. Food was incredible. Service was amazing, and the espresso martini can really do a number on you! I ate so much that I didn't want desert. My partner ordered a desert for herself, and they brought me a little brownie anyway as 'you have to have something on your birthday'. I highly recommend this place and will be coming here more often!”

“What a lovely stay we have just had, the setting is absolutely beautiful. Rooms clean and an amazing breakfast. Took our baby dog and he even had a sausage cooked for him with treats as soon as we arrived. So often hotels say dog friendly but not aloud he there and anywhere, but o my goodness he was more welcome than us lol. Cannot wait to go back.”

“1st time trying this Chinese. Ordered my collection at 7.30, got there slightly early, a very warm welcoming member of staff was very polite and advised that they were just finishing cooking the last of our dishes. Food was hot, fresh and tasted amazing, when we got home roughly a ten minute drive. Will definitely be ordering from here more often, lots of Malaysian dishes I’d like to try including the Nasi Lemak, Redang & Malaysian curry. I’ve eaten at a lot of the Chinese takeaways in Plymouth and this is definitely my new favourite. Staff seemed really knowledgeable about their menu and dishes, took the time to tell us about the Malaysian dishes and recommend dishes which we may like. Prices are very reasonable and match prices in the local area. Portions of what we ordered were large and plentiful.”

“Thank Goodness Mr Wahid is back in town. Used to run the best curry house in Plymouth Jaipur Palace. His old chef is back with him at Jaipur Kitchen and the curry A-Team didn’t fail to deliver. We had a fantastic takeaway just like it used to be. Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Don’t go anywhere else for a curry. They trounce the rest !!”

“Delicious Thai food. Papaya salad was the best one I’ve had so far. Everything was seasoned well , cooked and presented nicely. Portions are on the smaller side but flavour wise it was high quality. Great tasting seafood with Thai twist. The drinks were awesome too, the Thai milk tea was amazing. Amazing ambience, staff attentive and friendly and seating with view was spot on. Probably the only Thai restaurant in St Ives. Highly recommended.”

“My family and I went for dinner here tonight and the food was absolutely delicious. We try and go for dinner here every time we visit South Devon and it never disappoints. The pizzas are delicious. The roasted squash and Israeli couscous dish I had this evening was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten. Really good service and a lovely atmosphere.”

“Really lovely pleasant restaurant. Food was excellent because I think it is family run, and not a chain. Being brought up on Italian food, I can honestly say the pasta was excellent and the sauce was good. The pizza's were cooked out of a pizza oven large in size. Prices good Value for money. The second time yesterday was to sabatinis, decided to meet up with family. We are four vegetarians, and we are glad they had a new lunchtime menu. Lots more choice for a vegetarian in the starters and Maine. Still a reasonable price for a two course meal for lunch. Again, it was delicious. You will not be disappointed.”
