“We do a 40 minute round trip from the Hills to get pizza from Basso. It’s easily our favourite pizza place in Perth! Consistently delicious with generous toppings and perfectly chewy/crispy dough. You can’t go wrong with a pepperoni or the works from these guys”

“Always a great feed from Domino's. My order is always ready on time and the pizza is always very tasty. The crew are attentive and friendly each time I go in. I find pricing very good as long as you pick up, the delivery cost I don't find worth it. Always look out for their specials, there is almost always a promotion on. The inside of the store could do with some work, but you are there just picking up or ordering, so isn't a big issue for me.”

“Got the Katsu curry and I must say it's up there as one of the best Katsu curry's I've had in Perth. The gravy/curry is really tasty and the serving is big. Comes with rice and a Japanese shredded cabbage salad. Nice traditional Japanese homely food”

“Just moved into the area so this was our first time ordering. Had the Katsu Chicken Bento Box and the Chicken Udon Noodle Soup. Both were really good! Very good value for money, the portions were big, we will be trying other dishes and the sushi which looked great. Friendly staff when picking up which is a nice thing too.”

“I tried this for the first time last night and I couldn’t have been more impressed, honestly. How wonderful it is in this day and age to see a properly staffed place, with the staff clearly working to a system, providing great service and delicious pizzas at excellent value for money. I had the Americana with pepperoni and it gave me that special joy you can only get from quality hot pizza that I haven’t had in quite some time now. Outstanding guys, knocked it out of the ballpark!”

“We couldn’t book into our usual Italian restaurant so we opted for a new place! Portorosa, and we found ourselves absolutely delighted, not just by the food, but also the wonderful service and atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely be back. Surprisingly not too crowded, maybe because of the long weekend? But we had a table of eight. The food came promptly, and the staff were attentive. Serving sizes were prob smaller than what you would get elswhere, but honestly, the quality was amazing, fresh, aldante, and just right, kind of leaving you a little wanting more , but just right for the tummy. The price was very fair for the quality and serving size. We loved that all employees in the restaurant were Italian, which added to the family atmosphere. Our family all had our different favourites as we ordered different dishes but to share. The desserts are what topped it. We chose the Panna Cotta, Creme brulee & dumplings to share. The lovely waitress recommended the dumplings (little doughnutty pieces the size of gnocci, covered in icing sugar and dipped in nutella or maple syrup). We had never heard of it before but were so glad it was recommended. We could not fault the restaurant. We look forward to coming back . Thank you Portorosa Spearwood!”

“Some of the best lamb cutlets I've had. Food was great, squid very tender. Service was OK but a little slow, forgiveness because very busy. Atmosphere could be better, rather cramped table arrangements. Would definitely go again.”

“Best Chinese food around our area. A consistent 5 star food and service experience! The restaurant is always clean, the menu is great with LOTS on offer. The waitresses are always dressed appropriately, know the menu, always polite, patient and helpful. All the dishes we ordered were great, flavoursome and never oily. I prefer eating with chopsticks and this is never forgotten. The restaurant dining area is typically a full-house, so can sometimes become a little loud, ergo only 4 stars for atmosphere. I would advise anyone wanting to dine in to book a table beforehand.”

“The jonesy jerky is full of flavour and spicy and the fruits in cocktails are squeezed when being made and the definitely know their beer, I wanted something like Corona on tap an the barman knew exactly what to give me. Just don't leave your burgers or food unattended or the seagulls will eat it for you like one confused customer found out the hard way.”

“The food and service is just wow. I would give them more than 5 stars if i could. We booked a table of 16 for my daughter's birthday. The food was out so quick and so fresh and gorgeous. Very generous portions. Even the hungry ones couldn't eat the whole portion. We will be back for sure. Go there for a meal or take away if you live near Currambine Central or passing by. You'll not be disappointed.”

“Edit. Updated review: Recently revisited Cafe Nocello. Food was just as delicious. Was disappointing that the mussels were not available by themselves. Ambiance was great. Unfortunately the wait time was over an hour and our appetisers/mains were not timed well. Though this was obviously caused by being short staffed due to covid. Nothing that could have been helped. We were prepared this time and brought our own wine. The staff were amazing and also handled themselves beautifully when a belligerent and derelict drunk man tried to barge and in cause a stir. Original review: Firstly - did not know it was solely byo. However, the Virginia mojitos were DELICIOUS. Bought the sparkling water and topped them up as we ate & they were still delicious. Arrived at the end of service however the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was served deliciously fresh and very quickly. All the seafood in the risotto marinara was cooked to perfection. Absolutely amazing. Sincere compliments to the chef!!!!! The ravioli seemed as if it was fresh made-to-order & not pre-made/frozen. Prices were good, especially given serving sizes.”
