“EVH saved my cat Nico’s life. He had been recently diagnosed with diabetes on top of his IBD and I had been giving him too much insulin without realising. I had come home from work to find him barely alive, cold and stiff, after experiencing hypoglycaemia and potentially seizures. I didn’t think he’d make it that night but because of the EVH team he made a miracle recovery. They let me see him at his worst all hooked up and tremoring, as well as when he regained consciousness but was blind because they knew that I wanted to see him. They updated me regularly and were so kind, supportive, understanding and comforting. Because of them me & Nico have a second chance and I’ll be forever grateful. Nico has made such a magical recovery (the magic being veterinary science). My only issue is in myself because I don’t remember the name of each vet I met on the after hours team that night as I was so stressed and anxious. Thank you so much everyone.”
