"I popped in here for the first time today -- early lunchtime on a Saturday. The shelves were all well-stocked, clean, and beautiful. The people were very friendly. In a store this size, they can't carry everything, but the selection of products was very thoughtfully optimized for the needs of students without serious kitchen facilities or prep-time available. Lots of snacks and frozen quick-heat meals, but also a good selection of fresh veggies and some meats. They have an excellent selection of hot and cold prepared foods in the back, with emphasis on Indian and Middle-Eastern dishes. I tried the chicken tika masala and the vegetable biryani, and both were delicious (though the tika was a bit too spicy for my wife). I wish them great success -- they seem to be doing everything right."
"This place is great! Sometimes they're out of my favorite items (chocolate fudge, tamarind sauce for samosas, a very specific smoothie), but they're my favorites for a reason -- because they're really good! The people who work here are really nice, and remembered me + liked me enough to give me extra tamarind sauce once (I hope management is nice and doesn't get them in trouble if I say this) after they were out for a week! Good selection of quality items (they even have foreign chocolate brands!!!) at amazing prices for Pittsburgh, the only time I need to go to a different grocery store is for my favorite yogurt brand that they don't carry, or occasionally when they're out of some of the vegetables I need for cooking. I love you Scotty's Market, and I hear you're so much better than Entropy and I believe it!!!"

"This grocery store very recently opened up and so far it's been great. The store is operated by Salem's Market and Grill so they have a lot of the same food (affordable and large portions) and a large selection of products from their grocery store. Definitely the best place to shop on campus, imo."
