Makefield Friends Meeting
● OpenWelcome to Makefield Friends Meeting, a welcoming and historic place of worship located at 877 Dolington Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania. As a part of the Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers, we gather for worship every Sunday at 10 a.m., followed by Spiritual Enrichment at 11 a.m. This enriching experience, akin to a Sunday School for all ages, invites everyone to deepen their spiritual understanding and connection. Makefield Friends Meeting holds a special place in the Newtown, Yardley, and Washington Crossing communities as the original Quaker meeting in the area. We are proud members of the Bucks Quarterly Meeting and the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, continuing a long-standing tradition of faith and fellowship.
