Family and friends had hammered home the "oh man you're going to be hounded for so many documents, you're just gonna sit there for hours till your arm falls off" and for us, sure there was a fair amount of things to provide for approval, but generally they worked with us to make it as painless as possible and I never had that feeling of "oh god this is so much work."
