Welcome to the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Museum & Archive, a unique treasure located at 8110 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Housed in the historic Lewis-Pattison House, built in 1805, our museum is the only one in Philadelphia dedicated exclusively to the history of the Civil War. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we invite you to explore the personal stories of the men and women who served during this pivotal time in American history. Our revitalized exhibits showcase personal memorabilia from veterans, with a special emphasis on those connected to Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
