The Health Department located at 651 South Center Avenue in Somerset, Pennsylvania, is a local government office dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the community. Working in collaboration with Windber WalkWorks, a consortium of Windber Borough, Windber School District, Windber Municipal Authority, and Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber, the Health Department aims to create a healthier community through walking initiatives. The Windber WalkWorks network offers walking routes in the area, including the route at Windber Recreation Park, with plans for more routes in the future.
