Beltzville State Park
β OpenBeltzville State Park, located at 2950 Poho Poco Drive in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, is a 3,002-acre park in the southern foothills of the Poconos. The park features the 949-acre Beltzville Lake, fed by the excellent trout stream Pohopoco Creek. This lake is a popular destination for boaters and anglers, as well as a resting place for migrating waterfowl. The park also offers a sandy beach, picnic pavilions, and a variety of recreational facilities, thanks to a cooperative effort between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, DCNR's Bureau of State Parks, and the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Visitors can make online reservations or call toll-free for more information. Beltzville State Park offers environmental education and recreation programs from March to October, aimed at increasing awareness and appreciation for the park's natural and historical resources. The park's environmental center and amphitheater host educational programs, and the park is ADA accessible.
