Grey Towers Castle, located at 450 South Easton Road in Glenside, Pennsylvania, is a stunning historic institution with a rich history. Originally built in the late 19th century by William Welsh Harrison, the castle was designed by renowned architect Horace Trumbauer and inspired by the medieval Alnwick Castle in England. The castle features French Renaissance architectural elements throughout its 40 rooms, including intricately carved woodwork, tapestries, and ornamental plaster panels. In 1929, Grey Towers Castle was purchased by Beaver College, now known as Arcadia University, and has since become a National Historic Landmark. Today, the castle serves as a vibrant hub of campus life, hosting a variety of events such as lectures, book readings, and student presentations. The castle also houses administrative offices and conference rooms for campus organizations and student groups.

The Lawrence County Historical Society, located in the heart of New Castle, Pennsylvania, is a treasure trove of local history and culture. This exhibit will be available for viewing starting August 26, 2024.Visitors can also take a guided tour of our beautifully preserved 1904-05 Edwardian-style Colonial Revival Residence, originally built for George and Alice White Greer.
