"A melancholy time capsule where the air just hangs that much heavier than not only any other Wesbanco branch, but ANY bank. Unlike other Wesbancos which are very friendly and customer-focused, the Perrysville branch sits on its own island. A financial "Duloc," if you will, operating as its very own little financial fiefdom specializing in negative customer experiences. The unwritten motto of the Perrysville branch seems to be "We're not happy unless you're not happy". Even at Gringotts', the trolls give you access to money. Not here, insolent Muggles!!! Let's start with the building itself, an architectural gem awash in brown towering over the downtown Perrysville skyline and dwarfing the Great Hall, Vater's Hardware, and Hair It Is. A monolithic marvel, so elegant in its simplicity as a monument to 1970's banking, the golden age where a teller could still yell at little Johnny for taking two lollipops instead of one. But let's dig deeper beyond the brick and mortar. The culture here is one of pure, unfiltered joylessness. This branch is staffed by a tenured, oath-bound coven hailing from the Fidelity Bank era, complicit in their complacency, channeling Dolores Umbridge and governing their kingdom of currency with an iron fist like a self-appointed Knights Templar sworn to uphold their vow of misery. Once granted permission to approach the sacred counter, even the most penitent of men recoil in regret. No amount of courtesy or self-flagellation shall appease these keepers of coin. Should you have the misfortune of neither being one of five regular customers, nor having Malfoy as your last name, you immediately detect the presence of a sinister, undeniable, and impenetrable force field impervious to common courtesy and through which, very much like a black hole, not even light can escape. This force field rapidly deprives you of all happiness much like the Dementors of Azkaban, and thus triggers the "fight or flight" reflex. Teller permafrown and immediate paranoia (especially if you make the mistake of walking in with a bag) are likewise ubiquitous, culminating with complete unwillingness to provide the time of day, much less change for a dollar, unless you have account superpowers. I emphasize that, in all fairness to the Wesbanco parent company, the issues at this branch pre-date the Fidelity Bank acquisition as this exact scenario also played out when this was a Fidelity Bank branch. Highly recommended if you enjoy misery, are fluent in Parseltongue, want your smile turned upside down, have "Defense Against The Dark Arts Teacher" on your resume', or have a really good wand and have mastered the Expecto Petronum charm. Otherwise, Gringotts' is a much better choice if you like misery but also appreciate access to money. And they treat Muggles well."
