"Well they change the rent randomly the elevator doesn’t work half the time, iv lost hundreds of dollars of stuff being stolen by someone who lives in the building (confirmed by passed manager) nothing was done oh and the person still lives here!. Our whole bike room every bike was stolen because someone broke the back door months ago and they didn’t fix it, they broke our washer and dryers stole clothes. We don’t have a manager the phone number listed on their site and the one they give us you will never get a response an or answer. If you Lock yourself out it used to say manager will let you in during business hours yet no one was an still is never there. So you then have to wait for 2+ hours an 200 plus dollars later to get back in. Sorry for the rant but I would not recommend renting from them. In the beginning it wasn’t bad but now Id have better luck sleeping on the street an my stuff not get stolen etc. and like I said no way to get into contact with anyone iv had emails from about 7 different people nd some iv had to email multiple times for over 2 weeks etc just to get a response of “il look into it” . Save money and go rent somewhere else you won’t regret it!"

"The lobby has a ringing noise about half the time, there is almost never a manager on site (maybe once a week), management has changed over 4 times (I've only lived here for a year and some change), and they never respond to emails. The apartments are tiny, don't include an oven, there is no central A/C, and the elevator breaks down all the time. If you get locked out during the week they're supposed to have someone here, making it free, but nobody is ever here. They're stingy, inconsistent, and generally inconsiderate to the residents. I do NOT recommend living here."

"Giving an honest review of the year and a half that I lived in this apartment building. Pros and cons. I'll start of with the pros. It's nice for a temporary living situation, an in between setting. Most tenants while my time of living there were quiet kept to themselves. The newest manager (third one since living there) is probably the kindest one yet. (jaxx) Your nestled in a decent area right in hollywood close to many shops, food carts etc. The views out the windows are pretty. Now on to the cons. Make sure you purchase a mobile AC or you will be miserable during the summer. Buying a fan does nothing as those studios are like ovens. Rent is still quite high for having a micro studio with no actual oven, no self washer/dryer units, and no AC. (All things to consider if you are looking for a full equipped studio) My rent started at 1128 and by the time I moved out after a year and a half it went up to 1250 for a 247 sq ft unit. It's shared laundry which is usually okay but the washer and dryers are very small they charge 2 dollars every load, and tenants often leave their clothes sitting for hours to DAYS. (good luck keeping up with laundry) The halls, elevator and lobby often smell of cigarettes, marijuana, or dog/cat pee due to tenants not following typical residential rules. (standard in city buildings) and it usually takes awhile for someone to clean the common areas so the smell lingers for days. There was a small issue of squatters sleeping in the lobby at times from being let in, which caused packages to get stolen often or food orders stolen however they're "working on security" Lastly, moving out which they state they tell everyone this in the rental agreement, when it comes to your deposit a minimum of $155 will be charged for a cleaning fee. Now I wont be the person to just leave a review based on that but I will say I deep cleaned my apartment to brand new. Even with doing that they state its a sanitary cleaning fee that they charge everyone when moving out (with or without a deposit) that can only be done by a professional cleaner not the tenant themselves. They do give you an option to hire your own. So that's something to keep in mind when moving in. Read everything. Overall I give the place a 3 star, its not the worst place, but it definitely has room for improvements. Just some things to keep in mind when considering this place :) good luck!"

"I beat myself up so much for renting an apartment with no A/C to the point my body reacted poorly to the stress. If you don't do well with heat, please don't put yourself in this misery. I thought I am not picky, I can deal with it but it's not true. If you can afford to rent an apartment, then you deserve an A/C not a fan. In the past 36yrs of age except while being a baby, I've never ever slept without cloth until now. Otherwise I will wake up during the night soaking wet on my own sweat. Apartment is nice and quiet though. Trash shoute and laundry is always clean but from now on A/C is most important."

"When Emily was the manager of the place it was great, but the new manager Andrea, SUCKS. She’s SO rude and disrespectful from the first day she started. Acts like she’s so much better than anybody here? I wish Emily never left.. but I probably would leave to if I worked for a company like them. If you can avoid living here, do it!!! There’s always bums sleeping in the lobby, which is also where you get your packages & mail, the doors that are supposed to be “secured entry” are always broken. If you complain about anything nothing is ever done, they say they will take care of it, and they either never do or take forever to do it . They just don’t care about anything. It’s always something with this place. If you have the choice to live elsewhere, just do it. You won’t regret it. I myself very much regret living here."
