"UPDATE: There has been a complete staff turnover when the board decided against meeting the teachers requests last summer (in the thick of COVID). My boys stopped going after I no longer needed care in summer of 2020. (I was home with them.) This post may not apply anymore. The director has been maintained. Grace place is an excellent daycare and preschool program. The are program is thoughtful and adaptive with caring and responsive staff. My family has been with Grace place for 5 months and they have my full trust with my two young boys. My oldest has two food allergies and they accommodate all kids' allergies for snacks by offering safe alternatives and the whole center is peanut free. They also ask for suggestions and feedback on their menu offerings. This was a big selling point for our family, especially when our youngest started showing signs of a potential food allergy and we had a hard time pinning down exactly what foods were causing a reaction. His teacher wrote down food he ate (not just what was offered) on days he had a reaction. The staff (we've worked directly with 4 lead teachers and the director) are very communicative and responsive to parent concerns. Raising kids is messy and fraught with difficult emotions (for me!) But these teachers have handled my concerns and miscommunications with grace and professionalism. They just adopted a new curriculum last fall that has my son engaged and talking about what he's learning at home so we can be a part of it. Both boys are all smiles at drop-off and pick up! They have community events and field trips that make this more than just a child care center, but a little village. I recommend it!"

"We feel so fortunate to have found Grace Place. At Grace Place we found the compassion and expertise that we were looking for in a preschool environment. The teachers here know and understood early childhood development best practices, and create such a welcoming supportive space for families. Our child flourished with both teachers because this is a child centered program that understands that emergent curriculum and meeting the needs of the whole child is key. This is a center where you feel comfortable leaving your child because the teachers and administrators truly care and are well versed in early childhood education."

"Grace Place is such an amazing daycare with caring, competent employees who have surpassed our expectations and have left us in awe. My son was a preemie and still small when we had to go back to work. The thought of picking a daycare to put my brand new, tiny son in was a nerve racking. He had already gone through so much. And the thought of handing him over to a stranger to do all the things I cannot when at work was honestly pretty scary. But we found Grace Place by word of mouth, when asking for recommendations. I was in love with the environment, the love, care and pure joy I saw on childrens faces we saw during our tour. One thing I found that i didnt see in a lot of other places, was real cribs and a bunch of toys and things for infants to play with or interact with. The teachers interact and entertain your babies as much as they would an older child. But it's not just play, Grace Place Teachers are well trained in early childhood development. They know how to provide cognitive stimulation through conversation, interaction and responsive relationships. They encourage interactive play that helps stimulate your childs brain development while also nurturing the child creating a beautiful environment anyone would want there children to be in. They have small ratios of children to teachers so your child can get some quality care and their many, many needs are always met. The longer we are here the more excited we are to see him be here for years to come. I honestly just love everything about Grace Place. His teachers are also amazing, caring people, to see my sons face light up when he sees his teacher in the mornings gives me joy. They are also well trained in emergency situations, quick to see something wrong and quick to react. My son had breathing issues while at daycare one day and his teachers quick, competent actions and decisions plus the way they handled the situation with speed, calm and care make me love them all the more and feel confident in my decision on this daycare being the right fit for our family. I fully trust thier staff with my child and that's not something I say lightly. We are grateful to have found a place that takes caring for your child seriously. Honestly it's just an amazing place and you should come see it for yourself!!!! You will fall in love with them just like I did I can guarantee it."

"My 5 month old attends this daycare and so far I love them. My son is always full of smiles and loves the providers. They have had some personal changes that are inevitable. But they seem to have good hiring protocols in place. My husband was impressed by the security and that all focus they had on children's development and all around health."

"I am a concerned parent who's child currently attends Grace Place. Since my child has started attending Grace place, there has been many concerning issues, involving the Administration, Staff, teachers and some other questionable business practices. I have has multiple meetings with both the Director, Ashley and a Board Member. They are not a well managed Learning Center. The teaching is wonderful. The Parent communication is horrible. They don't concern themselves with parents concerns about children being unsupervised. I personally witness my child who is under 3 years old unsupervised durning pick up + drop off multiple times. When I brought this up to the Director Ashely, she told me they are following the State guidelines, and disregarded my concerned as a parent. They also seem to have trouble with being consistent with behavior correction. They like to blame parents for behavior issues that occur at school. They also make correct action plans with the parents, they themselves do not follow through with. The turn over with staff is horrible. I would highly recommend you be extremely careful before sending your children here. Again the teaching is wonderful, But the lack of concern over children being unattended to is crazy. I wish This school was better managed with more accountability for the Children, and the parents concerns."
