"I shop St. Vincent Thrift Store for the little notions I use in my crafting and sewing--and when I have products in good shape, St. Vincent Thrift Store is the 501 (c)(3) Non-profit, Social Service organization I donate to. St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store keeps the money derived from sales and it goes directly to people who live and work in our town and area and who are in a bind. It doesn't go to keeping administrators who live in parts unknown in mansions and swimming pools. St. Vincent de Paul stays close to it "Mission Statement," and is why I choose to donate to them over others."

"Skip it! What an expensive store. There’s nothing thrifty about it. Does their average customer really want to pay $15 for used shoes? I’m very familiar with Yamhill County and must say that their pricing is out of touch with their demographic. It wasn’t fun to look around and they close early. I didn’t find one single thing that interested me in the slightest. Not one. My friend noted that one of the items in kitchenwares was priced two dollars less than the store that it came from when it was brand new; it had the original tag still on the bottom. If there’s only a two dollar difference, what’s the point of buying it used? It makes no sense for customers who are already of limited means."

"Lots of great finds here, and only in the 2 visits I've had. My daughter always finds a piece of clothing she has to have, and the books are great to go through. I also found that one adapter cord i was looking at buying full price from Walmart but didn't want to lol. Thank you guys!"

"These Days, it's getting harder, and harder to make our ends meet! Well...Cheer Up! There is a "Special Place", a "Welcome Home" kind of place that is right here, and has been Serving In Our Own Community for a very long time. The St. Vincent de Paul Thift Store is NOT just any old Thrift Store! The Rare Qualities of Maria, the Store Manager; along with the Amazing Staff who work there, help to Demonstrate on a daily basis the kind of Compassion, and Commitment it takes in Helping, and Serving others. I Humbly Believe that the "Key" behind this store's Success has been their Ability To Know What It's Like To Walk In Somebody Else's Shoes (No pun intended!). Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the Thrill Of The Hunt for that Great Bargain Experience that you'll get when when you stop in!"

"I had a humiliating experience trying to donate clothes and toys- after calling ahead to make sure these items would be accepted. They didn’t even say hi but barked “two bags!” “Two bags!” over and over at me. Evidently I was supposed to understand that this meant that they would only take two bags of clothes. I told them that the bags were full of toys and clothes and they told me they wouldn’t take toys at all. I told them that I had just called and checked, and that the people on the phone told me my clothes and toys would be fine. I said I’d take my stuff to goodwill and started putting it all back in my car- then they started taking away the things I already told them I didn’t want to give them. They even had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a receipt. I will never give them another penny. Clearly they don’t want my help."
